The Primary School Commonwealth baton arrived at school at 1.45 on 23rd May. It had been on a journey taking in many schools on the way. The runners from Clifton passed over the baton to 3 of our Year Six pupils. As the Clifton pupils and staff  arrived, they were given a typical Heyhouses…

Year Six have enjoyed a Health and Well-being morning.

There was also a Healthy Heads session - learning  about how our brains can help us in various tricky situations.

They also had a yoga session…

Year Six had an amazing time on their residential adventure holiday.

They tackled abseiling, an aerial trek, a trapeze, caving, team building, archery, orienteering, a mini Olympics and the disco.

Many were surprised at how good the food was and how big their rooms were.

Year Six are heading off for their residential visit to Condover Hall in Shropshire.

A chance for everyone to gain independence, to challenge themselves and to have fun with their friends!

Year 6 had tremendous fun today celebrating Christmas in style with

a Rocking Reindeer Party!  

All the children and teachers joined in with the madness

and sang along to Christmas songs in the process.

A fabulous end to a very busy term.
