Happy World Book Day from Reception!
Today our classroom was full of stories, imagination and lots of excitement as we celebrated World Book Day together. The children loved coming to school in their costumes and sharing their favourite books with their friends.
We spent the day reading lots of wonderful stories, talking about our favourite characters and even acting out parts of some of the books. The classroom was buzzing with creativity and laughter!
Reading plays such an important role in Reception. It helps children develop their language, imagination and confidence, and most importantly it helps them discover the joy of books.
Thank you to all the families who helped the children get ready for today and for supporting reading at home. We hope everyone continues to enjoy lots of stories together!
