In Pine Class, Year 1 have been exploring our exciting topic Plants, including Trees. The children have loved learning about how plants grow and what they need to stay healthy. In our garden centre role play area, the children have been busy planting and watering flowers and plants. We have also been investigating different seeds and bulbs by looking closely at them under a microscope, which helped us notice their shapes, sizes, and patterns. One of the most exciting parts of our learning has been looking after our caterpillars. The children are eagerly watching and waiting for them to grow and eventually hatch into beautiful butterflies!
