This week we have been exploring wild and garden plants. The children used a special microscope linked to the laptop to take a closer look at different seeds and were fascinated by the tiny details they could see on the screen. They also examined a variety of bulbs using magnifying glasses, carefully observing their shapes, textures and layers. The class enjoyed researching different types of plants on the iPads and then used their discoveries to create detailed sketches. It has been a wonderful week of curiosity, observation and developing our understanding of the plants that grow around us.
